we arrived in oxford on a blistery day,

with lots of cool wind and air blowing our way.

we visited various colleges and imagined university life here,

after seeing the library matt thought he'd like to try it for a year!

with pastys in our tummy we enjoyed a stroll down high street,

happy that the city of dreaming spires was such a welcome treat.

in brigham city we met for dinner.

we decided to fill ourselves full to the brim

(this would not be a meal to make us thinner).

after eating and visiting we headed outdoors,

to take pictures and commemorate the day.

we jumped and posed - this photo shoot was hard core,

said goodbyes and headed each our separate ways.

a trip to utah could not end,

without a visit with our east coast friends.

this time we decided to meet at another friends' venue,

where philly cheese stakes are the highlight of the menu.

it was delightful to visit and devour east coast treats,

in our alma mater town in the late summer heat.

vernal, ut

a trip to vernal is never complete,

without a four wheel ride through the weeds and the wheat.

while riding, see if you can cleverly catch,

a grasshopper in your mouth - it may take more than one match.

don't think about leaving without paying homage to the dinosaurs,

the bones of these huge extinct animals are seen in museum tours.

it's a super fun city with fun for one and all,

a place that's nice to visit winter, spring, summer or fall.
